The Human Race is the nonprofit community’s 5k. Since 1994, The Volunteer Center has managed the race and helped raise over 4.8 million dollars for hundreds of local nonprofits.

When you donate to one of the many non-profits participating, you are impacting our community for the better. Thank you for your support. When you donate to an individual on a team, you are supporting that individual's goal and the money goes to the non-profit the team is supporting! To the right, you should see the name of the team you are supporting. 

NOTE:
YOUR DONATION WILL GO TO THE NONPROFIT TEAM YOU HAVE CHOSEN! Your receipt says The Volunteer Center because we collect all dollars, organize matching programs, add company raised dollars to the total, count and add any checks anc cash, add additional dollars from our sponsor grant, then we distribute ONE check with the total to each non-profit. You can still keep this receipt for tax purposes! 

We have been organizign the event for 26 years. We cover all costs of the event and set up the fundraising platform to make it as easy as possible for all triad nonprofits to participate! We take care of the heavy lifting so they can share their fundraising links and focus on their mission! Thank you for your support.
