One Step Further Inc
One Step Further, Inc. was founded in 1982 and has been serving Guilford and surrounding counties ever since. We currently operate 12 separate programs that serve at risk populations from youth to seniors and everyone in between. Our programs offer our participants a bridge between where they are now and where they want to go. All donations through our participation in The Human Race go directly to programming expenses.

UPDATE: Just like everyone else, One Step Further has been deeply affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Now, more than ever, we are diligently working to continue to provide services to those we serve. Whether it be through our grocery assistance & nutrition program, providing support to our LGBTQ youth, staying in contact with our families and youth in crisis, or delivering meals to students and seniors through our Gate City Coalition program. All donations received through The Human Race will go directly to our programs that serve the most vulnerable populations - even more so now.
