AuthoraCare Collective, formerly Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance-Caswell & Hospice and Palliative Care of Greensboro, empowers people to be active participants in their care journey, enabling them to live on their own terms through personalized support of mind, body, and spirit. We believe that each story is unique, and we are committed to honoring and supporting individuals as their stories unfold and evolve.
Therefore, AuthoraCare participates in the Human Race to raise support for our Elizabeth "Clay" Smith Patient Assistance Fund - a fund that is used to cover basic needs for indigent patients. This support may be in the form of assistance with housing and utility expenses. It may be also be used to creatively support more unique needs of patients such as paying for veterinary expenses to help keep a patient's beloved pet close by.
